Evening Grosbeaks Visit West Newbury

For the last week or so, beautiful downtown West Newbury, Vermont, has hosted a gross of about 25 evening grosbeaks. Now, I'd have ignored them if there were only a couple dozen, but 25 was enough to get me out with the camera. You can see them from the parking lot of the Post Office.

A few of them visiting a downtown feeder.

This is Jimmy, The Schnozzola, showing off exactly why they're called 'grosbeaks.'

This guy seems to be wondering what I'm up to.
